 MISSION STATEMENT: To provide high quality mental health counseling to individuals, couples and families who have little or no health insurance. Sliding scale fees are provided that are sensitive to the financial conditions of each party. Developing a well-grounded internal life will enhance the qualities of the external life, but treatment must be affordable to lower and middle-income demographics.  SPECIALTIES: I have fifteen years of experience working with the following populations struggling with: - depression/anxiety disorders - substance abuse/addictions - grief/loss issues - relationship conflict/resolution - personal growth/spiritual issues - sexual abuse/other truama categories I am a provider of training in stress management, assertiveness building skills, and setting boundaries in personal and business relationships. Approaches in modalities include cognitive-behavioral, client strength, solution-focused within a biopsychosocial context.  PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: I received my Bachelor of Social Work Degree in 1996 at Carroll College and my Master of Social Work at Walla Walla College in 1997. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since May of 2000 and also can provide clinical supervision for BSW/MSW intern candidates working toward full Colorado state licensure. I have been certified as a mental health professional in Forensics Psychology with an emphasis on addictions. Evening and Saturday appointments available. SLIDING SCALE FEE CONSIDERATIONS: - 90 minute mental health evaluations ($45-$65)flexible - 60 minute individual, family or couples session ($40-$60)flexible - 60 minute clinical supervision for interns ($25) firm Special half-price discounts for clients who refer others to A Loftier View.  |
